First choice BUY BOTH!!! …otherwise, I would say get the XL… I LOVE my WHITE XL ~ I am also glad I have an Electric Blue plus VX-351 /CP 251 etc (but they still don’t add up to an XL!)
for alain yes - even the EB Voyager is considerable weight to travel with ~ I use a soft Moog case and a small Toyota 
i own a brand new XL. It is heavy. I debated the same choice and chose the XL. If the only concern I had was weight I would come up with whatever case on wheels I could come up with and move this Mac Daddy Amazing keyboard where ever. The weight would be easily ofset by not having to connect up the vx 351 and the CP 251. Having the extra keys, ribbon controller, patch bay, 2 LFO’s and 128 more presets is not bad either. Get the XL. Life is short.
