USB to MIDI converter for Stage 2 Upgrade

Hey All

I’ve had my upgrade hardware for a year and haven’t installed it yet. The only MIDI out hardware I have any longer is ProTools MBOX and the installation failed on so many levels that I’m done with it.

So what I’d like is a USB-powered adapter/cable to do the download of the new software to phatty.

I’d like it to be cheap, but I need it to work as well. Tempted by the $6 cables on ebay I wanted to ask you masters what I can get away with and get this done already.

Been using an M-audio Uno for a couple years with my stage 1 and other gear and never had a hiccup.

I use the UNO as well. Works great!
