just a heads up, in case it happens to you on Windows. When I tried to install the USB driver, the folder for it kept coming up empty after I extracted everything from the zip. After a little investigation i found that my Norton Security thought it was a Trojan and deleted it. i had to restore it and override Norton so that I could run the driver install.
Thanks for reporting Brian. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has experienced the very same issue - just to rule out the option that the zip file was somehow infected once downloaded to your environment.
Gil.
I had the same issue on 9.27, and possibly 9.28 but had already told Norton that the file was extractable and runable. Norton complained about moogmusic_midi_driversetup_v2.23.0.exe - Threat name Trojan.Gen.SMH
I allowed the file through as it appeared to be a low-usage general issue, the same as I mentioned in the Minitaur forum when Norton quarantined _minitaur_erase_fw_cmd.exe - Threat name: WS.Reputation.1
If you determine there might be an issue please let us know …
Two occurrences of the same problem on totally different environments does mean it’s probably a real issue. I will report that on. Thanks !
