Unable to register LP Serial Number.

I have sent a message to Moog twice regarding this issue. Thought I’d post it here to to see if I can make any headway.

I purchased my LP2 from Sam Ash (Lombard) on 10/19/2011. When I try to register it on the moogmusic site, I keep getting the error “Please check the accuracy of your serial number.” I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pulled the LP out to look at the back and double checked with the S# that’s written on the box.

Has anyone else had issues with this and if so, was it resolved? I’d hate to plop that much money down on a product if I can’t even get the manufacture warranty. Hope someone, preferably from Moog, can gimme a helping hand!

Yep, it happened to me twice. I first tried when I sent mine in for the CV upgrade. Moog’s system would not recognize the number. Someone from Moog registered it for me to get the RA and sent back. A year or so later I’m trying to get a RAs for the Sonic Tune up and same thing. I called Perry and he took care of me. We registered it again. We’ll see what happens when they come up with the next upgrade. So I guess I’m saying don’t worry about it.

Same here: can’t register my new MidiMurf.

Guess I bugged em enough. It was registered last night. Odd little glitch.

I too, have tried several times this year to register my LP to no avail. Profile still shows the Stage I that was sold years ago- as a reminder to NEVER sell this one.

Go to http://moogmusic.com/contact and choose category “Registration/Warranty”. In the message I gave them the S#, purchase date and store it was purchased from. It took a wee;k and 2 separate messages, but they finally got it registered.

Sent them a couple of emails, but it’s still not registered.
Great web site and service! :unamused:
