Well the issue is it crashes when trying to load. I suspect that my OS is too old (10.5.
. I’ve searched for the editor minimum OS specs but to no avail. Can someone confirm that I need to upgrade to Lion to use the editor?
I have the same issue. I find it weird that 10.5.8 would be too old though, I can see instrument plugins not necessarily supporting it but an editor should support older os’s. Hope they come through with a fix.
Folks: try this build of the Editor on OSX 10.5.8, tell me if it works for you:

Nope , still quits…
Darn! Any error message, or does it just fail to launch?
Yep immediately fails.. Won’t even start- same as it was.
Hope u can find a solution! Cheers D
Any updates on this? I’m in the same boat and would love to set up the REV2 update.
i ditched 10.5.8 and im now on 10.6.8 ..
Happy now!
Just ordered a Minitaur and just now noticed that there appears to be some compatibility issues with the editor and OS X 10.5.8
Amos, I tried that build you posted, but it just keeps crashing. Could you let us know whether there is any chance of an editor that is compatible with this OS X?
I’m a bit gutted as it was the Minitaur Rev 2 update that had finally sold me on the Minitaur over the Slim/Little Phatty, so am now a bit worried that my computer won’t even let me use the basic editor with it.
Id just get 10.6 and be done with it…0 issues and all my plugs still play nice…do it!!
