Hi. I’m trying to help out our keyboardist, who is new to analogue synths. Is there some kind of tutorial on how to tie the LFO to the modulation wheel so that the wheel affects the strength of the modulation. My old keyboardist used to do this with his MiniMoog, but I cannot remember how.
Which synth is he using?
Since this is the MoogerFooger forum, he’s not trying to adjust any rates on MoogerFoogers with the mod wheel is he ? If he’s trying to use the mod wheel on the synth to control the rate on a MoogerFooger, the only way I know of would be with the VX351 on a Voyager.
Or is he trying to on the synth it’s self ?
If it is a Voyager, mod bus One, Source (tri, Square, S/h…) Destination( Pitch, Osc 2 Osc3 filter…) below is an amount knob you may need to turn it up a bit. Move the mod wheel up you should be set to go.
Little Phatty pretty much the same thing.
If it is one of the romplers it should be buried in a menu somewhere.
If you tie an LFO to a Mod WHeel, wouldn’t the wheel increase the SPEED of the modulation rather than the strength?
Perhaps if you could really clarify what type of effect the modulation is having and is supposed to have and what synth its on and we should have a better approach to your question.
By the way, Welcome to the Forum!
Eric
It could also be that it’s broken
.
Sorry, wrong forum
No problem at all
. Did we get close to answering in here though ?
