is there anything available to learn how to make some cool sounds i can use ,besides the regul;ar presets?

cool id like to see a little more of what this thing can do,unless your a seasoned vet its pretty hard to come with something usable or something you really like that will fit into your sequence atleast for me so far,dont get me wrong i love the sounds im just ready to tweak it to something i looking for,anyway do you have a link to these tips??? i wish it had a tutorial dvd !!! oh well practice makes perfect!!
