Tuning problems

Hi
last week i picked up my new Voyager Fire red edition. As i noticed the tuning was flat with the tuning pot set to 12 o clock. I did some tests with the default patch in the G bank and routed the audio into logic with the tuner plug in inserted. It was ca 25 cents off when i started warming up the Voyager for half an hour. This remained practically the same for tests i did later that day. I had to switch the tuning pot to 11 o clock to get in pitch. I also read on the forum about the pitch bender calibration that showed to me 127 - 6 - 115. I am a bit unsure what to do now. Should i return it to the shop, should i live with this : is this normal. I am not to eager about calibrating myself on a new piece of equipment. Thanks for your input.

This is normal. The tuning will change depending on the heat/humidity in your enviroment.
My tuning knob is never set to 12 o’clock and varies a bit from day to day.

This is not normal. Please contact Amos (amos dot moogmusic dot com).

It still makes some killer sounds though, even when buggy :stuck_out_tongue:

True :sunglasses:
Anyway I will contact Amos. If the middle level of the pitch bender is calibrated at 0, will that mean that I the fine tuning will get closer to 12 o’clock position?

If the rest of the calibrations is OK, yes!
Have fun,
Rudi

I just disconnected the LHC and by adjusting the VR3 switch I could bring back the pitch bender resting position to 0, although it seems to drift a bit sometimes it comes back to +1 or -1. Indeed I can now set the fine tune pot almost to it’s 12 o’clock position…
Only thing now is that the pitch bender down setting still does not go further than -115 so I’ll guess I’ll have to adjust the potentiometer a bit…
