I’m having trouble figuring out how to trigger the sequencer, or any notes really, from my Pro Tools session. I have midi connected via USB, as well as midi out running into the Sub from my audio interface. Midi in set to “both” and midi out set to USB. Midi in set to “all” and out set to “1”.
Midi data is being sent and received as the software editor works fine and I can use the Sub as a midi controller. What I can’t figure out is how to trigger notes, arps, or sequences on the Sub from PT.
Basically I’m trying to record a sequence but obviously it has to begin at exactly the right time to match the rest of the song.
I also have a follow-up question of a similar nature: I managed to get the sequencer to sync with the tempo of my track from the DAW, but the note values seemed to be off. It seemed to be playing 1/8 notes when I needed 16ths or something like that(sorry if that sounds vague). Is there a way to adjust this?
Any help would be appreciated.
