Took some getting used to, but I'm loving the Sub37

I received my Sub 37 last week. My main Moog has been the Voyager for the past 4 years, although I also have a Slim and a Minitaur. Compared to the Voyager, the build quality of the 37 didn’t seem quite up to par. Of course at half the price, I expected that, so no real surprise there. The main difference that took some getting used to was how much tighter/firmer the Voyager knobs feel. The 37 knobs are not only smaller, but they turn much more easily, almost too much, as they seemed like one simple bump could affect a parameter by mistake.

I’ve since grown accustomed to the 37, and have fallen in love with the sound and the feel. This machine has balls for days, as most of you know, but I’ve also been able to dial-in some soft, lush, Voyager-esque patches as well. Then, once I easily programmed the sequence for 'On The Run" and played Pink for a while, I knew we were meant for each other.

In other words, the Sub 37 is a badass-motherfucker-of-a-synth. So, if you’ve been on the fence about getting one, hop on over and join the fun.

Yeah I’m having fun using the aftertouch on the presets and discovering all kinds of fun modulation! Soft press sparkle has S&H on the aftertouch and some weird distorted LFO on the mod wheel! Fun!!
