What TNC lamp length is more suitable/practical for a Voyager: 12" or 18"?

I have the longer length, and it works just fine.
By the way, what’s the length of the “official” one from Moog? I guess it’s a Littlite brand.
I don’t know, though from the looks of it on the web page, it looks like a short one. But hey, in the end, it’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it that counts.
