If it’s not busted, perhaps the guy selling it really needs the money. This IS a recession/depression, after all. Either way, it’s always sad to see great gear being sold so cheap. I’m so glad I’m too young to remember the Analog Throwaway of the '80’s. 
Perhaps he just doesn’t know the market.
Not a bad deal though, even if it IS messed up, Moog will service it.

yeah… I was given THREE analog synths in 1987 for free…with calzone cases, no less. A Korg mono/poly, a Moog Rogue, and a Moog Opus 3…didn’t pay a penny…
…I gave the Opus 3 away to a deserving student some years later… and sold the Mono/Poly and Rogue to finance a new Stage II LP … no regrets here!
