Hey everybody, I’m a longtime lurker but this is my first time posting. I just got my first Moog, a Source, and am enjoying the heck out of it. I tried most models out there, both new and old, and found The Source to be the most suitable for my needs, which is mainly funk/R&B bass. My particular Source is in the mid 4,000s serial range, and has an aftermarket MIDI upgrade. I can tell it’s not the Encore SMK from its functionality, so I’ll need to open the synth to determine the origin, and replace it with a new SMK kit.
I noticed that my pitch bend wheel bends a full octave up, but only 11 semitones down. I’d like to fix this, if possible. In addition, the synth bends down 11 semitones over MIDI, as well. I appreciate any insight you guys might have. Thanks!
