I’d like to sync the tempo of the auto trig of my Rogue with the Elektron Octatrack or any other device that can send clock signal (Octatrack as a master, Rogue as slave), so that I can simply press a key on the Rogue and the tempo of the auto trig follows the tempo of the Octatrack.
Midi out of the Octatrack goes into a Doepfer MCV4, from there I can go into the Rogue.
Is this possible at all? I couldn’t figure out so far how to set it up.
OK:
Doepfer will output a +5v trigger pulse or an S-trig but they’re internally selectable, open up the Doepfer and locate the jumper leads and put it to s-trig standard mono jack to the Rogue and it will work! (pretty standard feature on most mono synths in the 70’s/80’s. Great with drums sync!
Just had a thought! jumper in the Doepfer should be set for 5V pulse out1 there’s only 2 possible combinations - pretty strange they never gave both options on the back panel of the MC4V?
I will check this out. Though I must admit I NEVER opened up a device like this, but I guess it shouldn’t be that complicated… Otherwise I might come back to you
