I’m not sure how I feel about this new trend of not including hard-copy manuals with gear.
I hate keeping a thick tome that is only so thick because its in 10 languages, and I also hate keeping manuals I will never need or want except if I sell the gear one day…but I feel like the Muse has enough new stuff going on, that the 60 page manual (just in English!) really should have been included with the synth…and that’s before I even mention the expectations at such a price point!
In any case, I went to get the manual printed locally, but I realised that everything would be printed half size/two pages to a page in landscape, because the PDF is all double page spreads except the first and last pages. Some print shops might be able to fix this for you, but self service brands like Officeworks (Aus) or…IDK…Kinkos(?) probably won’t do this.
I’ve attached linked a modified version of the currently published manuals with one page of content per page or print, and two additional blank pages to ensure the two page illustrations are facing one another.
Most ways I could find to make this fix were pretty tedious, and the quick method I used requires Acrobat pro, so hopefully this is of some use to others…
