The Moogerfooger VST Collection

Hello Moogerfooger users,

Since it is almost Christmas I offer you free of charge the 3 VST Controllers that I have developed in the past months! You can use them to control the following MIDI compatible Moogerfoogers: the MF104M, the MF105M and the MF108M. For the MF105M this is an alternative for the already existing VST, with additional functions and the possibility to recall any presets as part of your DAW projects files, and for both the MF104M and the MF108M it opens the door to control these Moogerfoogers from your DAW software. And even if you do not use a DAW, you can use the standalone versions to access several additional functions of the devices…

These are the main features for each of the 3 VST Controllers:

  • 32-bit VST plugin (Windows only)
  • several additional functions and settings that cannot be accessed from the device itself
  • visual feedback to control the Moogerfooger without the need of checking the status LEDs on the device
  • 40 preset positions with full preset management
  • the status of all knobs, switches and settings is automatically saved and loaded with the DAW project files
  • all parameters can be automated allowing real-time control within your DAW
  • additional stand-alone application to control the device and create presets without the need for a DAW
  • user manual included in the downloads

You will find a picture of each of the VST Controllers here below. For each Moogerfooger you can download two different 7z-format ZIP files: one with the VST plugin, all 3 attached to this post, and the other 3 files with the stand-alone application in the next post (all of them contain a user manual which includes the installation instructions). In case of any questions or remarks, please let me know.

I wish you all a very good and musical Christmas time!

Wow! Thank you so much!!

Thanks for the generous offer! To bad I’ve have been apple-exclusive for 17 years.

Thanks very much, I will try the MF104m plugin soon!

Thanks for the great offer! Will definitely download and try these over the holidays. Of course the offer was free but it will probably cost me … don’t have a Cluster Flux (yet)

Thank you for your generosity!
Joyeux Noel!

I had a chance to try these out before the release and they are really well done and a lot of fun. I feel they enhance my creativity with these Mooger Foogers. Lucas put a lot of work into these and I am happy they are released here for free!

I updated the OS on all 3 of my Foogers before using them. I followed the instructions from Moog and had no issues updating them.

Thanks so much for these! Awesome work.

Awesome work, Lucas -
Thank-you for sharing these with us!!

Thank you so much Lucas.

I will try the MF-104M VST this week. Very clever the way you implemented the under the hood functions on the GUI. I like it.

Cheers.

This is fantastic! Damn Windows only, but still fantastic! Thank-you for your hard work!

I’m looking forward to a MAC version - maybe I can find someone to port it…

I am sorry that there is no MAC version, I made this with Synthmaker/Flowstone which only works for Windows and only allows to create 32-bit VSTs. You should try to find a software on your MAC that allows to use Windows VSTs, or add a cheap Windows PC and link it to the DAW you use on your MAC.

Late to the party, but recently picked up an MF-104M Super Delay, and was struggling to get Pro Tools to spit out CC info to the moogerfooger, but having the luck to also own a pair of the 500 series delay’s I tried the Official Moog plug-in and it controls almost all the MF-104m/SD midi functions. There are a few anomalies but it’s a start for those using OSX.

I have to use the plug-in ‘meta plugin’ as a 32/64 VST > AXX wrapper but it works a treat.

Hopefully this helps anyone wanting to play with the MF104m/SD as a hardware insert or controlled via their DAW.
