Hey, I’m new to the world of moogs, but I just got my first one. I have an old MG-1 and I love it. The one i have right now has 2 black keys that don’t function and the detune slider is dead…other than that, after i cleaned it out and got rid of all the black gunk, the sliders all seem a bit scratchy coming through my amp 
Anyone have any tips on how to fix these problems?
I also purchased a second MG-1 from ebay and I’m going to make an attempt at getting it to work like new.
also, while I’m here, can anyone recommend a good patch to get a nice phat sound…keeping in mind my detune is broken. I’ve really been trying to get a good “Motion City Sountrack-esque” sound, but i fail miserably. hahaha. And for anyone who is unfamiliar with that band, check em out!
