That sound

There’s a classic mini sound that I guess is a combination of glide and changing cutoff frequency together- is it something to do with the way the glide circuitry is wired on the mini and is not on the voyager? Anyway I cannot get the sound on my mini #2847. Would a filter control pedal help and what is available, can the moogerfooger EP1 be modified to work on the mini? For the sound good examples I have seen on the forum are ‘Magic Man-Heart’, ‘Tarot Woman- Rainbow’ and also ‘Highways of the Sun’ by Camel’ (the brilliant sadly late Pete Bardens). Any ideas.

Obviously you are going to have to use the 3rd OSC as an LFO, modulating cutoff frequency. Other than that you have to carefully adjust the envelopes. In polysynths like the A6 you set the envelopes to analog-triggering mode (or whatever makes the envelopes retrigger not from zero but from the release value - I don’t know if the Minimoog is like that).
