No longer will we need to have patches named 1337 BASS, but we may have 1337 Bass. ![]()
wow a new OS!! great news!! ![]()
Ha, haiku-ish and Voltor figured it out!
This is not going to be a full-blown, major-features OS update…
just full MIDI CC implementation (including all Advanced Preset, Arpeggiator, and LFO Sync parameters), and the long-awaited extended character set. ![]()
coming soon, to coincide with the new VST Cotroller/Editor
Really cant wait for this update and the new VST Controller just wondering how much longer we should have to wait? Fulll midi implementation will be a great upgrade for my Bessie.

Probably whistling in the wind, but is there likely to be an audio unit version of the Moog plug-in controller that I could use on my Mac with Logic?
The OS update is up… check the Moog website (products, little phatty, software). Should be both Tribute and Stage/Stage2 versions available for download. Please try to make sure nothing foolish can go wrong while doing the firmware update (update your MIDI drivers, don’t use overly long MIDI or USB cables, keep the cat out of the room, etc).
As for an Audio Units verions of the LP VST Editor… I don’t think ReKon knows how to write AudioUnits. I’ll ask some folks about it, but I think it is a lot more difficult than a simple port… you’d probably be able to keep the GUI but would have to completely re-write the code from the ground up.
If this situation changes I’ll be sure to post about it… I know a lot of folks would love to see an AU version.
Cheers,
Amos

Thanks for the update another flawless installation
Big thanks to all involved for bringing this about. Having a synth that evolves as the LP does makes it for being all that more special . Looking forward to the VST editor now that the ground work has been laid down. ![]()
Cheers Nick
Update went smoothly for me as well! Great J0b, AmO$! ![]()
Did the update (actually 2.1 and 2.2) today and everything went super smooth. Can’t wait for the new editor!

This may be a stupid question, but will my presets all go back to factory settings if I do an OS update?
No, an OS update doesn’t reset your presets. It is always a good idea to back up your presets to a computer prior to doing an update, but the presets only go back to factory settings if you invoke “RESTORE FACTORY” from the Utilities menu.
