Has anyone actually side by side compared the mighty Taurus to the bass tones of the LP, Voyager, and SP? I would love to hear clips of similar wave forms and setting of each instrument. I am REALLY enjoying my T3, but just can’t stop wondering about how close the others can get.
I have T1, T3, Voyager, Minimoog D, Source, Memorymoog, Polymoog.
I have auditioned a LP next to my T1. The SP is the same synth engine as the LP.
NOTHING gets those big bass timbres of the Taurus 1/3. And I’ve been trying for YEARS to match that sound. Unique filter coupling and feedback topology is the chief reason they sound the way they do.
