Taurus Stand

I searched for info and couldn’t seem to come up with much, especially something dedicated except in this case I’m wondering how people have thei Taurus’s arranged in Studio.

I’ve seen a few of the Taurus Pic threads that have it at the corner of their Studio (Bass players among us), and a few guys have placed it directly beneath their wide keyboard stand.

So this thread is really more about looking for info on Keyboard stands that will work with the Taurus beneath (it needs to be underneath enough to have the Pedals away from your normal standing position while playing the keys yet not too far as to make the controls too difficult to get to).

I have a “X” type QuikLok and it just doesn’t get the job done.

(I don’t have monster synth requirements, just want to be able to hold a 5 Octave synth at the bottom, a 2 Octave up to and have utility to add sheet music holder or maybe a side car shelf for something else.)

Thanks

You could try one of the new V stands from either Roland or Ultimate.

The old 80’s style A frame ones would work too.

The Quik-Lok Z-frams stands would probably work.

I have another Quik-Lok one that I’m hoping will work… I don’t know the model number, but if the other choices don’t work for you, PM me and I’ll do more digging… It’s almost like a tripod with a narrow beam that comes up the back, and then the front has legs that move left to right, to accomodate the width of whatever keyboard size. I’m hoping there will be adequate floor room for the Taurus to go there…
