This has been written about prior but I wondered if anybody had a beat on a good Taurus case.
No I’m not going to have a roadie haul mine around, I just want to be able to get it from my cushy home up to a studio in the city a few times a month. I would think that wheels are a must and perhaps there are no alternatives to the $500 case but I wanted to ask.

Interesting, even with shipping to the US they are $150 cheaper than the official case. No mention of wheels though…
Yes, I’ve been back and forth via email with them. I picked up an Allen & Heath MixWizard 14:4:2 recently and was to order a rack for it (with tilt up top) from Swan provided that they could cram the Taurus case inside (to reduce shipping from UK). With that it would be just slightly higher than that Moog flightcase;
Most unfortunately, it could not be worked out to physically fit inside (blast it straight to “he” double-hockey sticks). I still might buy the Taurus case, however. By all accounts they make quality gear and “good enough is good enough” as they say.
