Hey all,
So there was some discussion about this on the Voyager board, which made me want to investigate something EricK wrote:
I used the Voyager’s Pitch Output via the 351 and immediately what I got was like a third interval or something close. It did sound great and tracked well, but the only way that I could get the Voyager to play the same pitch was to detune the voyager via the fine tune knob.
So I hooked up my Voyager’s gate and pitch CV to the T3’s inputs, and as far as I could tell it tracked perfectly! But then I “re-keyed” the Taurus by pressing a random pedal, and got the interval that EricK reports. After a little experimentation I determined that if I keyed the Taurus with an E, it tracked as expected. But if I hit any other note on the pedals then tracking pitch from the Voyager CV got weird.
I’m running the beta firmware (1.2) on my T3. Anybody else tried tracking a Voyager’s pitch CV with the Taurus oscillators?
