Taming MOD AMT on the Sub 37

Hi all,

I think I read somewhere on the forum that it was possible to adjust the MOD AMT (maybe it was a feature request I can’t remember). The MOD AMT curve is way too steep for me by default and I would really like to level it out a bit. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so where that setting is?

I think I remember in the MOD controller Menu, one can use the CTRL4 AMT to put it at around 50%, this halving all the MOD AMTs effects.

Wow! That’s really counterintuitive. I was diving around there but wasn’t able make that connection.

Does anyone know the story behind why CTRL4 is named that way? It would be very interesting to know and I think it would make this stick a little better in my memory (and maybe someone else’s too).

Here’s the story. (It’s a short one.)

MOD WHEEL (1st controller)
VELOCITY (2nd controller)
AFTERTOUCH (3rd controller)
CTRL4 (4th controller)

Since it’s assignable, it doesn’t have a specific name.
