Hey guys,
I just saw a MOOG System 55 Cabinet and 6 CP series modules on ebay. Looks like a cool way to start a
modular but the price is way expensive.

PS: I never heard of CP when it comes to MOOG. ?
CP modules were half-height modules located at the bottom of the system 55. 
Of course Moog modules are expensive. No one makes them anymore, number 1, number 2, Mike Bucki has all the parts to make them, but no one knows where he is.
That seller is on cRAcK. He has parted out all the modules and is asking way too much for a “System 55” cabinet with nothing but CP modules.
How are you gonna re-stock it to a 55 configuration? Original modules are extremely rare and expensive. Gonna buy the parted out modules from the same seller? He will pocket a handsome profit. You could stuff that cabinet with clone modules such as mos-lab, cotk, or dot com modules but you would have to wire new power harnesses and replace the power supply.

I don’t think that’s the first moog modular that he owned either, I came across an auction that is still going on (I think) where he is currently the high bidder on a IIIP. We can thank this guy for making a rarity even more scarce.
Like those people that find extremely rare firearms (like the japanese Arisaka rifles) and demil them to make them nonfunctional.
