Newbie here…inherited this beast…On the envelope module, what’s the exp and linear ? anyone share any great patches? Just learning the system and keen to get some help.
Do you mean the Amplifier module? This controls the response curve of the amplifier - you can think of it as having two “speed” options, fast (exponential) and slow (linear). As an example, if you connect an envelope as the modulation source, the T1 (Attack, or fade in) and T3 (the fade out - also called Release) will be longer in linear mode. Exponential response is great for percussion, snappy basses, that sort of thing, while Linear is going to be good for pads, swells, etc.
