System 15 app sharing patches

Hello! I am blown away by the System 15 on my iPad Pro. Really fantastic.
I do have a question that has stumped me. I’m sure I’m just overlooking something but I’m at a loss.

How do you import a shared patch? A friend shared a System 15 app sound patch he made on his iPad. SHARED the patch in Messages to me. I see the patch file in my Message timeline. It has a Moog logo file icon. When I tap it, it does nothing. When I hold on it it brings up “COPY”. I select copy but once inside the app I find no way to PASTE or Import.

How do I bring in a shared patch sent through Messages?

Hi!

Thanks for the kind words. Sharing patches uses Apple’s standard “export”/“open with” framework and sadly it seems that Messages limits how the files can be opened. If you have an email account, iOS Mail, Dropbox or others allow you to open the patches directly with Model 15 when you tap on the attachment.
