Sysex File with Blank Patches

So I was wondering if anyone has made a sysex file where every patch is a basic waveform. Meaning it’s set up for the user to create all of their own sounds from scratch. I set one patch up this way and it seemed like kind of a pain in the ass. Has anyone done this?

I bought the Welsh’s Synth Cookbook and want to utilize it. This would make it much easier to go from patch to patch and not have to do all kinds of tweaking to get it back to a basic waveform.

a lot of folks choose to save the Calibration preset to a new location, and start from there. You could copy the calibration preset to every location in a bank if you wanted to… and then save that as sysex…

How do you save it to a new location?

  1. Press the Store button (as usual).
  2. Use the Value knob to select destination.
    3/4/5. Then - as usual - press the Cursor button, use Value button to change No to Yes and press Store.
