synth d.i.y kits?

Hi does anyone know if there are any kits for beginners like a 1vco monophonic 1u rack synth with full instructions etc thanks any replys are greatly appreciated.

The FatMan is a nice introductory synth. It will cost you under $200.

However, I was thinking more along the lines of their “P9700S Package Offer” for under $475.

To me, this is much more usable.
