Sync the ARP with a Drum Machine?

Hey Guys,

I would like to Sync. my LP to a Drum Machine so that if I increased the ARP tempo , it would be automatically synced with the Drum Machine Beat .


I am a bit new to MIDI issues, I got the Midi cable now so I would really appreciate if some guidelines can be passed to accomplish this task if possible

Read The Manual…
It wont work, the LP doesn’t send midi clock info, you can control the “ARP” with a DM tho… i.e. the DM determines the rate of the “ARP”.

With all due respect telling someone to “read the manual” isn’t very helpful. Sometimes those manuals assume previous knowledge - therefore they don’t read easily to a MIDI newbie.

The LP manual isn’t rocket science, there is a whole section dedicated to the OP. So, maybe a reading of the manual is actually helpful.

Don’t know about you dude, but I will honestly say that I’ve read parts of the LP manual that were more like rocket science than exemplary of clarity. Just my two cents. Also it was obvious that the dude was a newbie to MIDI - you don’t understand MIDI reading about MIDI implementation in a manual that is not devoted to teaching you about MIDI.
