No, you want to use unbalanced mono 1/4" cables for patching. You can buy sets of them pretty cheap online. I keep multi-colored ones so I remember what I’ve patched where!
Just to be clear, mono plugs are, by definition, not (T)ip (R)ing (S)leeve, but only (T)ip (S)leeve. Although TRS plugs can be wired as mono (by connecting the ring and sleeve together), they’re not found pre-assembled like that on the market.
Commercial 1/4" cables are either stereo (balanced) with TRS plugs, or mono (unbalanced) with TS plugs.
Yes, unless you can position your VX351 near the top of your Voyager (that’s where all the connectors are located on it) then 1.5f could be long enough…
Or unless you have a Voyager XL, then you can position the VX351 next to it on the left side and 1.5F long cables would also be long enough…
Even though the TS cables are what’s required, I just wanted to add that you CAN use TRS cables as well. The ring connection is just ignored. I do this all the time with my Foogers and Voyager.
