Subsequent37: volume dependent change of sound?

Dear all,

I have tried out my Subsequent37 for some days now and I am not sure if this is a feature of the synth or a bug. So I would appreciate some comments:
When you increase the synth volume by turning the headphone, output and mixer knobs from a medium to a near maximum level the sound center is gradually moving from a center point to the right side (please use headphones to hear this).

You should reproduce it the following way:

  1. push init button for couple of seconds (init saw wave)
  2. turn the wave button os osc 1 to the left (anti clockwise) => you should have a clean deep oscilator sound.
  3. now the sound should be centered in the middle of “your head )” if you have headphones on
  4. if you now gradually increase headphone output by increasing output volume and headphone volume and mixer output to near maximum the center of the sound is moving to the right side in “your head”.
  5. if you now gradually turn the wave know of osc1 to the right (clockwise) you immediately hear that the new wave shapes are also not centered in the middle.

Does anybody can reproduce this on the subsequent37?

Thanks for your feedback.

Jo
