Sub37: Mod question for Kick drum creation

Hi,
I’ve been creating drum sounds with my sub37 for some time now and bumped into this demo of a modular kick drum ‘patch’.
https://youtu.be/gqh8mB4pDoU
The artist creates a kickdrum with an OSC and uses 2 EG’s to create the vca and pitch envelope (sync triggered).
So I thought, could I create that same sound with the Sub37 ? I can sync the OSC and the EG’s and trigger them with the ARP.
It’s not as flexible as the modular setup, but it should be possible
Well… the problem is that I can’t figure out how to pitch control OSC 1. I can pitch control OSC 2 (somewhat), by modulating
the frequency env. but it doesn’ sound deep enough.. I want to use 2 OSC’s to variate the waveshape..

Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not possible?

Cheers

there’s a pitch knob on each mod bus, where you can select osc 1/2 or both as a mod destination (positive and negative).

Can’t you just use that to dial in the amount and set the source on the mod bus to be one of the envelopes or the downward ramp (with kb reset) to get a kick drum pitch drop?

attached are sysex and wav files for a kick drum using the FEG and pitch knobs in the mod 2.

you can tune the sound using the main filter cutoff knob, the EG AMT knob and also the the PITCH AMT knob in MOD 2
