Has anyone else had electric noise issues with the Audio Out on their Sub37? A few days ago I noticed a 60hz (and higher) hum coming from my Sub37. It is not a ground loop issue as all my other equipment is plugged into the same outlet with no issues. I’ve tried plugging directly into my Apollo interface as well as leaving it plugged in through my mic pre. Any ideas?
Have you tried using the Sub 37 alone with headphones only?
Yes and no issue on headphone out. Called Sweetwater Tech Support and they said there is a known issue with Sub37 Audio Out and they have had good results switching from a TS cable to a TRS cable. Super odd, given it’s an unbalanced out but I’ll give it a shot.
Yes that has worked for me on some Moogs
This is something that seems to happen only to gear with analog oscillators

That might be able to fix it
This issue was resolved by switching to a TRS - TRS cable. Thanks for the help!
I was having the same problem, low-level buzzing. I’m running the Sub into some MFs so the TRS trick didn’t work for me. Fixed it with an Ebtech Hum X on the AC line. Super quiet now!
I’m getting really bad hum, noise/static on my line out as well. Any other ideas how this can be helped/fixed? I’ve tried TRS cables and still nothing.
I just had to change the line in of my audiointerface from Hi-Gain to Lo-Gain to fix it
Thanks, switching TR to TRS cable helps.
See my Subsequent 37CV noise floor before and after.
Pretty good, including USB cable plugged !
Very interesting stuff.
This should be in the manual (have not checked if it is…)
Ciao
I also have an identical problem that didn’t appear right away, it gets on my nerves, hey man so that’s Moog
, such errors shouldn’t happen just like firmware 2.0 for M32 which doesn’t work for everyone
I’ve had the same problem before but I haven’t tried the TRS cable yet!
