Just a little question : Is it normal to have the LED Brightness min/max in value and not in % ?
I agree that this parameter is coded in 256 values (from 0 to 255), but don’t you think it could be more user friendly to indicate 0% - 100% like the LCD Contrast ?
Over on the hardware, when the lights are dimmed, the push-button lamps get much dimmer than the panel indicators, especially the on/off buttons for the mixer (being recessed). If the hardware allows for different PWM amounts, could we get the buttons to not be dimmed as much as the indicators?
Thanks for replying Gil. I understand that the slider will reflect the current brightness level of the LEDs but what is the default brightness setting prior to making any adjustment from the Editor?
The default brightness setting is “82”. The scale is 0 to 255 but it isn’t linear (as far as how the brightness is actually perceived).
In the more recent editor, the slider is incorrectly outputting a max of only 127; this is reported in another thread.
I’ll see if we can change the label on-screen to 0 to 100%… or maybe 10% to 100%, since it can’t be turned completely to zero (as that would render the LEDs useless).
as far as setting a different actual PWM value for small round LEDs versus lit pushbuttons, because the buttons are naturally dimmer… can’t do that now I’m afraid, as we need to focus on getting to a release. I’ll add it as a feature suggestion though, as it makes sense and seems doable in theory.
