Hello all,
I’m having some issues with USB/MIDI and hoping someone might be able to help me out (or pinpoint what my issue is even called).
I have some programmed MIDI as a software inst. on Logic and it’s coming in beautifully, but the front panel of the Sub Phatty is controlling random parameters of Logic’s interface - for example, the Osc 1 wave knob is muting my highlighted track. I’d like to be able to change the waveshape while recording without it muting what I am playing -___-
I’m in MIDI channel 1 under the Sub Phatty folder of the Library inspector.
Thanks guys.

Specs:
iMac 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
OSX 10.6.8
Logic Pro 9
RME Fireface UCX
Thus is a common problem with any Moog recording into Logic.
simplest solution is to Change Logic Midi Settings Input filter options
Thanks Pete. I was hoping this wasn’t the case… but alas… more tinkering awaits.
You’re Welcome!
…not terribly difficult and still in more less the same place in Logic Pro 9 and 10
Project Settings > MIDI > Input Filter
if you disable CCs that should take prevent accidentally triggering Solo/Mute
you can also filter MIDI from the SubPhatty itself
not sure why, yet it’s early days… - i had filters off and don’t seem to be triggering same unwanted response in LPX ~ maybe something changed in the new Logic?
I’m having similar issues in logic 10. every time i solo or mute a track, my slim phatty switches from one waveform to another until i unsolo… i turned off all control changes… I’m very very very very very frustrated, please help
i also shut of all send CCs from Slim phatty
