Sub Phatty Sequencing Volume vs Non-Sequencing

Hi all,

Perhaps this is addressed somewhere or is normal behavior, but when I CV sequence my SubP using an Elektron Analog Four, everything works fine except the volume of the sequenced series is much lower than if I play the keyboard direct. So if I hit a key, what was a reasonable volume when sequencing becomes uncomfortably loud. Obviously I could deactivate keyboard when sequencing but that’s a hassle.

Is it necessary to sequence CV volume as well in order to overcome this problem? One would think the Sub Phatty would just play back at the currently set “live” volume, the patch settings are definitely the same, just low volume.

Settings are gate with V-trig polarity (s-trig doesn’t work) and V/oct for pitch. Pitches scale more or less fine through octaves. Trig mode instead of gate has the same volume issue.

Thanks for your help!

The issue is, right now, external gates are assigned a “velocity” of zero. I’ll change this soon.
For now though, when sequencing via external CV you might want to turn down “Amp EG velocity sensitivity.” If this parameter is at zero then there will be no volume difference between sequenced and played notes.

Cool, thanks again!
