Sub Phatty not compatible with 440 tune standard ?

Hi,

My first Moog instrument is Sub Phatty. My first post here. I figureout how to use Phatty in Cubase 7.0.6. But I have an 2 issues:

  1. In Cubase I make External Instrument with mono In 3 to my RME FF400. When adding Instrument track Cubase warning that:

This mixer configuration expected “Moog Sub Phatty” to have Output 1: Stereo,
→ The instrument currently has Output 1: Mono
→ The instrument channel will be silent.

So I delete and make Stereo outputs for that External Instrument 3 and 4 (4 is unused). Then I must insert “stero to mono” plugin on that channel to receive mono signal in center of panorama. Thats too many tweaks…

  1. I think Sub Phaty is little higher in tune then my every VSTi instruments ! Is it Moog standard or something ? Can I change it to normal 440 tune ?

Regards from Poland,

Pawel

Sorry for my english.

Try to run a calibration, it may solve your tuning issue.

Thank you. I think it was my mistake…fine tune knob  I need to RTFM…

Maybe Cubase 7.5 today update resolve my first issue too. I hope so…

there’s also a Fine Tune knob right on the panel. You can use it to set tuning to 440Hz, 432Hz, whatever you like within reason…

Thank you !

My mistake. Fine tune !

But Cubase still no mono instruments tracks…?

which is not a problem of the SubPhatty.
Try to ask on a Cubase forum. I am very sure there is one somewhere in the internet.
