Sub Phatty MIDI problem: no note off?

Hello everybody,

I bought a Sub Phatty a couple of months ago and twiddled away with it without using the Librarian/Editor Software. I just activated the panel and twisted and tweaked. Got it sequenced via Reason and recorded some pretty wild stuff. So far so great.
To get to the full potential of the unit, I explored the Editor yesterday and also saved a patch I did from scratch. I may be dumb or missed a few lines in the manual, but when I tried to sequence the Sub again, it worked, but then kind of feedbacked and when I stopped the sequencer it continued playing as if the synth hadn’t gotten the note off information.
Is this a MIDI bug within the instrument or am I just plain stupid? Am I missing something? I think the Preferences pane in the Editor software is pretty self explanatory.

I am working on a Intel MacBook Pro Dual Core running OSX 10.8 and the latest version of Reason. I plugged in the Sub via USB, but there’s also a PreSonus Firestudio Mobile Audio/MIDI interface hooked to the book. The audio of the Sub Phatty runs through a Mindprint Envoice channel strip and from there via SPDIF into the Audio interface.

Best regards
Stefan

It’s probably a MIDI conflict, when accessing the Editor via USB AND sequencing via USB at the same time.
Will hook the Sub to the Audio/MIDI interface via DIN for sequencing.

Problem solved: you need the USB MIDI port for the Editor software and the DIN MIDI port for sequencing.
