Sub Phatty - MIDI hang/freeze after automating pitchbend

Hi, I don’t yet know if this is a hardware or DAW bug, but I’m guessing it’s the USB MIDI driver.

the issue:
i am automating pitch bend values through my DAW (Renoise), sending data to the sub phatty. Everything works fine.. but after 10-15 minutes of tweaking and fine-adjusting the Phatty suddenly hangs (freezes on a random note in endless sustain). And this happens EVERY TIME.

What’s weird, is that this only happens when doing pitch. No problems when automating other parameters.

Any suggestions or similar experiences?

I’m using latest drivers and firmware, and Win7.

Update:
Seems the issue is the sub phatty USB-MIDI driver.
I have no problems whatsoever when using only the DIN port.

However, would like to use the USB-driver, and need it for the editor as well,
so maybe this issue can be looked into before the next driver/firmware update?
