Sub Phatty issues ( pitch incorrect and firmware upgrade )

Firstly thanks for the wealth of information already on this forum.

So I bought a Sub Phatty second hand from a reputable dealer, thing is like new.

However it was five semi-tones flat ( yes the FINE TUNE knob is at 12 o’clock )

I tried resetting the keyboard to middle C, but it regressed to five semi-tones flat after changing banks.

So, upgrade firmware, pretty sure it didn’t work properly as the midi light didn’t flash when sending the bootloader via the C6, it also didn’t calibrate at the end of the firmware upgrade. ( calibrated later, still 5 semi-tones flat )

State of play, not much more is working than the noise generator when in “active panel” mode, patches have been reset via the editor and work as they should.

Next step ? Send the thing to Moog for a “factory reset” ? Would that be expensive ? Only other hope is that the two usb cables I have are not up to scratch.

Thanks in advance.

Update: keyboard now working in “Active mode”, I was quite possibly idiotic enough to have found a silent setting due to over enthusiastic knob twiddling.

Bank 1 Patch 1 ( factory setting ) is transposed, some of the other patches seem to be in the correct tuning, albeit the sounds are pretty much unusable.

Also when registering the Sub Phatty, it appears that the firmware upgrade is indeed necessary for my model ( low serial number ), would be interested to hear from anyone that had a Sub Phatty pre-firmware upgrade, and might have had some of the symptoms I’ve described.
