I have a “big” problem with my Sub Phatty. I usually sequence it from a mpc3000, but also from ableton live/korg sq1. No mather if it is cv/gate or midi, it “skips” random notes. Lets say i sequence a 16 note bassline and let it run for 2 minuttes, suddenly random notes disappear in no structual order. The problem is less when I send it sequences in low bpm (80-90), but when I give it 120 bpm + it starts to skip even more notes than before. If I send it a 200 bpm sequence, it almost doesn’t respond to anything. If i play fast notes on the keyboard, then there is no problem like this at all, so I guess there is something wrong with the midi/cv/gate inputs. I have updated the firmware. I usually don’t use the usb port, but the same thing happens there.
I have also tried all different settings with fast decay etc. etc. etc. Factor reset bla bla bla.. Still the same problem occurs. Anyone else with the same experience? I’ve had the sub phatty for 2 years now, and it has always been that way..
Guess it needs service…
