Sub Phatty Activate Panel Glitch and MIDI Failure

So I was trying to change the note priority of one of my patches using the global note priority command with no luck. I thought using the “Initialize Global Parameters” function might work so I tried that. Still no change to the note priority of the patch.

I tried connecting the Sub Phatty via USB to the editor software. I remember trying out a few different things on the editor hoping some change could be made, and at some point along the way something happened. Now when I use the activate panel feature, the resulting sound is far from what is dialled in on the panel. The synth is either silent or playing something completely irrelevant to the panel or note played.

Now I thought to remedy this I better reinstall the firmware, but now it seems the synth is no longer able to communicate via MIDI. I have tried using a MIDI interface, and a USB connection direct to computer. Neither seem to be working.

I am not sure what to do.

Would I be able to return the synth to the store I bought it from? I can barely use it like this. :frowning:

You may want to try the shift mode commands to reset a few settings.

Initialize Preset - Shift Mode : BANK 3 + BANK 4 + PATCH 1, press C# twice
Initialize Global Parameters - Shift Mode : BANK 3 + BANK 4 + PATCH 2, press C# twice

You can read more about these commands in the manual.

first activate panel mode
then do the “init preset” command listed by Bald Eagle above

(initializing global parameters is also a good idea)

that ought to help…
