Sub and Linux?

Does anybody have a Sub Phatty/Sub 37 or Minitaur up and running on Ubuntu Linux 14.04 + Bitwig Studio 1.x/2.x using the official VST-Editors or Standalone Editors?

I don’t own any of the synths yet…but I can load the VST-Editors into Linux-Bitwig using airwave-bridge by phantom-code but I’m curious if they would be really able to detect the Moogs either using direct USB or DIN-MIDI on my Alesis io2. Since there’s a propriatary Win USB driver I have some doubts …

Any other (VST)-Editors for Linux available? Eg. Ctrl panels? - Unfortunately the ctrl.so is does not show up in Bitwig device browser…

Any help highly appreciated!

I can’t tell you whether the editor would work on Linux using that software, but the reason Moog has a custom USB driver for Windows is that Windows doesn’t allow sharing a device between multiple programs by default. Using Moog’s USB driver you can. This is not an issue on macOS, so there’s no custom driver for that platform.
