[Sub 37] Snap mode?

Will the Sub 37 have a ‘snap’ or ‘catch’ mode so that when you recall a stored patch and when the positions of the knobs do not correspond to the actual parameters of the recalled patch, the pots do nothing until they reach those actual values?

Thanks.

The Sub has a Knob Mode parameter with Snap, Pass-Through and Relative settings. I think it’s safe to assume that the Sub 37 will also support this.

Yeah, I’d say it’s safe assume that. It would be weird if the Sub 37 would be more limited in any way than the Sub Phatty.

I switched my Sub Phatty to Pass-Through mode yesterday. I like it a lot better than the Relative (default) or Snap mode.

That is the behavior of “pass-through” mode. The mode called “snap” instantly updates to the current knob position as soon as you move the knob.

What is the behaviour of the “Relative” mode? Is it the same as the “Track” mode on the Little Phatty?

From the Sub Phatty manual, page 36:

(…) Relative mode (the default), in which turning the knob up or down slightly causes a minor change in value, and turning it further causes a increasingly greater change in value. This allows the value to “catch up” with the knob’s position and prevents any sudden jumps.

Thanks Breun  Should have gone to the online manual myself
