I only had it a couple of weeks now but I love my sub 37. I wonder if something passed me by when reading the instruction manual. I got my BS2 a week before the sub and one thing i noticed is that for a patch I can see what value a knob was at point of patch save because it has little up and down indicators so that if I move a setting i can see where it was. Does the sub have something like that, I also struggled with recalling the notes that I put into a sequence (I do love the 1.1 update though).
Anyway this is absolutely no reflection on the product which is beautiful its just me being dippy and forgetful.
Maybe someone can give me some tips around these things.
aha ok yes the vst must be almost done its been mentioned quite a while back. For the sequencer I just didnt recall what the note values were for a given sequence after the fact. Yesterday I wanted to add another bars worth but couldnt recall what I had already put in apart from the pattern itself which I can see with bank latch combo.
One thing moog team are, are great engineers, so I am sure they will make lots of other enhancements for it along these lines.
I like a lot just using the sub with the tr8 and no daw just using midi ox to provide the connection obviously in that scenario the sub sequencer is used to the full.
A MIDI tool like MIDI OX should also be able to show you the sequence notes if you play the sequence back while the MIDI tool is capturing the MIDI data.
