I’ve created a track using my Sub 37 paired with an Elektron Digitakt.
For the piece I layered a number of Sub 37 sequences in Cubase (midi clock controlled by Cubase) and added the percussion using factory samples sequenced in the Digitakt. The main Sub 37 track was improvised; there is a little bit of popping/crackling in the audio 
but I was pleased with the take and didn’t want to re-record it.
