Sub 37 + Moogerfooger Delay + Gameboys

Just wanted to share this here. This is a video of a new song of mine that uses the Sub 37, the Moogerfooger Analog Delay, a Korg Monotribe, and a Nintendo Gameboy. 99% of the track was programmed on and recorded from an original Nintendo Gameboy using a program called LSDJ. There’s a few tracks of Juno 106 in there as well but they’re a little buried.

I use the Sub 37 to generate really great sounding arpeggios that I send into the delay. I recorded the wet and dry signals of the delay separately and mixed them differently in Ableton. On a different patch, I have the Monotribe running into the external input of the Sub 37 and through the filter. Then that also goes out into the delay.

The Sub 37 is such a perfect addition to this style of music, in my opinion, because it is so rich and warm sounding which compliments the digital harshness of the Gameboy music really well.

Let me know what you think!

Excellent, loved it keep it up! Sadly all you did was add to my Sub37 gas! Doh!
