Sub 37 Midi/USB Logic Pro X connections HELP!

Hello everyone!

My first post here is a desperate cry for help. I have searched and read through tons of posts on the topic but still could not solve the problem.

I am using Logic Pro X as Master and would like it to trigger the Sub 37 Arp/Sequencer. My audio interface is MOTU Ultralite MK I. The Sub 37 is connected to a MacBook Pro via USB. I have created external midi instrument track in Logic for the Sub 37 and a separate audio track but when I press play/record in Logic, the Sub 37 does not produce any audio or midi. I have pressed the ‘Sync’ button on the Sub 37 and the midi button was blinking red but there is no audio.

I have tried different permutations with regards to the settings on both Logic and the Sub 37. I am slowly losing my mind.

If anyone of you have similar setup and things are working for you, please help!

Thank you!

Are you aware of the fact that the sub 37 does not transmit audio via USB? You have to establish an audio connection as well.

If you did this, maybe try connection the sub via a Midi-Interface and not USB.

Thanks Jasper, I did established an audio out from the Sub 37 to my audio interface.

I always presumed that the USB connection between the synth and my MacBook is sufficient.

Will try a physical Midi in/out connection later.

Did you solve the problem?
