Sub 37 Midi routing/Autotonic software

I’ve just bought autotonic (software) to hopefully work with sub 37.

It’s a program that maps scales (user & traditional) by midi to your keyboard via a processor sandwiched between your daw and chosen instrument.

It’s an amazing program but I when in duo mode I can’t get the second voice to work with it. It just plays the normal notes. One of the voices works and follows the chosen scale which is puzzling me.

Does anybody know if there’s a way to send the subs 37’s keys MIDI notes only, without triggering the actual sub37 synth sound engine
and then send the MIDI notes back to the sub37 to trigger the sound engine?

I think the problem might be the sub37’s hardware keys and sound generator are tied together physically.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I’m gutted I can’t get them to work together.

Cheers.

Check out the LOCAL CONTROL sub menu in the global menu of the Sub 37 (page 45 of the Sub 37 1.1 manual).

Thanks for your reply.
I’ve looked at all these settings and unfortunately I still can’t get it to work.
I’m still in the process of trying diffrent things at the moment. Using the focusrites midi din instead of usb etc…

I’d think that disabling local control for the keys should do it. That way pressing a key should only send out a MIDI note and not play the synth directly. The processed MIDI from the software getting back to the synth should play the sound on the synth.

Still no joy. I don’t think the software can function with the way the sub 37’s paraphonic voice architecture works.
I 've tried setting up an IAC driver, routing through ableton and standalone, countless sub editor settings to no avail.
It is a great program (works with poly synth) sadly just not with the sub 37 it seems. Cheers.
